Happy Deepawali to everyone celebrating

The Festival of Lights has arrived in Malaysia, a multi-racial and multi-religious country with a Muslim majority, and the best part is that everyone embraces this kind of heterogeneity. People also celebrate this occasion to symbolise seeking peace and harmony, exchanging gifts (usually sweets), and welcoming each other’s faith with open arms. All of the major shopping malls and public spaces have been decorated with #Kolam art created by either experts or amateurs.
