Honored to be a part of 19th Melaka International Youth Dialogue in Melaka as a speaker. World Assembly of Youth (WAY) hosted the event in collaboration Common Wealth Youth Innovation Hub. My presentation revolved around the importance of engaging youth in citizen journalism and highlighting SDGs on the media in its precise context. The presentation also discussed various aspects of fake news and the psychology of sharing behind such stories. The theme of this year’s dialogue was ‘Youth Deconstructing Fake News’. WAY invited several international speakers to present on the topic on how to combat the menace of disinformation in the region. Youth leaders from 4 different continents attended the event.
