Wishing a joyous and celebrated birthday to Honorable Information Minster of Cambodia H.E. Dr Khieu Kanharith.
H.E Dr Kanharith has been leading the information ministry of Cambodia for the last 14 years and has been playing a significant role in the development of media industry in the ASEAN region.

He was Editor-in-Chief of Kampuchea Weekly, the first Cambodian newspaper after the Pol Pot Regime. The newspaper played a significant role throughout the 1980s, helping Cambodians to become a resilient nation under the rule of Prime Minister Hun Sen.

I had the honor to work under his umbrella as AIBD organised 16th Asia Media Summit with the support of his Ministry. Humble yet energetic person, who himself monitored every process and ensured the success of the summit. Though, I had spent a brief time with him, but learnt life long lessons from him.

Happy birthday once again and thank you very much H.E. for being a role model for us.
