Happy #Merdeka -65th Independence Day to all #Malaysian friends

The Late Tunku Abdur Rahman, Malaysia’s Founding Father, once stated that unity is our fundamental strength as a people and as a nation.

If you look closely at this image, you will notice that it is made up of 100 small pieces of artwork, resulting in a large scale picture depicting Malaysia’s diversity and richness. A different child has coloured each piece. A child of a different race, culture, religion, and even their parents may have different political ideologies than the parents of other children, but one thing is clear: when the entire picture was combined, it became a beautiful image despite everyone having a different definition of “red,” “blue,” “green,” and “yellow.” This is what diversity is all about: getting to know one another and going beyond simple tolerance to support and celebrate the well-being dimensions of #diversity that are limited within each individual. That is my message to everyone who is reading this.
