,

Alhumdulillah!! finished another successful workshop on ‘Mobile Journalism’ in the region, and this time it was in Indonesia.

AIBD and TVRI, public broadcaster of Indonesia, organised an In-Country workshop on Mobile Journalism in the historical Royal city of Yogyakarta, Indonesia from 23 to 27 September 2019.

I would like to thank Ms Philomena, Director, AIBD and ofcourse my colleagues, Mr Apni Jaya Putra, Director News & Programmes TVRI, Mr Isnan Pakde, Director Finance TVRI, Mr Wisnu, Director Training, Ms Ade W S, to organize such a remarkable workshop with brilliant broadcasters from all around the Indonesia. I am really humbled with the love and respect these guys have given me.

This time it was an advance level course on ‘MoJo’ workflow, and aimed to explore the potential of Mobile journalism in Fourth Industrial Revolution and envisioning the future of Mojo especially with its integration with A.I application, and how we can create an effective communication with citizen journalists from remote areas.

The energy of my participants amazed me, despite being senior broadcasters they were passionate about learning this skill to its extreme level (we even had more 10 hours of classes). I hope they will make this training sustainable and teach their colleagues, subordinates, friends & families (while I will work on more advance level topics 😉 )

Last, would definitely like to thank Mr Helmi Yahya, President Director, TVRI who was passionate about this project.

So guys, keep me in prayers, and keep on learning and mentoring others…stay blessed!!!!
