Sabaidee from Luang Prabang

‘Sabaidee’ (Greetings in Laotian language) from the ancient city of Luang Prabang (literally meaning Royal Buddha Image)…The capital of Luang Prabang province lies in the valley at the confluence of Mekong River and Nam Khan river…

This amazing city was declared as World Heritage Site by UNESCO and was listed in 1995 for unique and “remarkably” well preserved architectural, religious and cultural heritage, a blend of the rural and urban developments over several centuries, including the French colonial influences during the 19th and 20th centuries.

Honored to meet with the Culture department and Ministry officials of Luang Prabang to discuss some upcoming activities and collaborations with Lao National Radio and Ministry of Information Tourism and Culture. Will be sharing more about the city on my Instagram account @nabeeltirmazi
